Our experienced designers will help you achieve your space planning goals. Please note the following details about our capabilities and specialties.

Faux Finishing

Faux finishing is the art of using sophisticated painting methods and materials to give the appearance of stone, marble, metal or wood, or to add architectural style to your space. Faux finishing design techniques add excitement, value and beauty to your home or office. These techniques include color washing, frottage, sponging and will create a mood and/or the illusion of texture.  Should you desire a “real” texture effect, Venetian plaster, textural plaster, or a crackle faux finish can add texture and variation to a space or object within a space.  An “Old World” (another word?) effect can be achieved by using antiquing and distressing glazes and creates a feeling of elegance.  All of the many Faux finishing techniques can be applied to cabinets, furniture, floors, walls, ceilings, wrought iron or wooden (?) railing, canvas, moldings, fireplaces, decor accessories and stone. If you would like to add charm or distinction to your bare walls, look at some of our creative faux finishing ideas to get started.  There is no limit to the many options available.

Metallic Highlights

To achieve a shimmering look to your walls, a metallic paint or glaze is applied to create the desired effect. When light is applied, the walls will sparkle.  Metallic paints are now available with water-based cleanup, and are safe and easy to use. You will feel as though you are surrounded in luxury with the polished luster of smooth metallic. The captivating qualities of this reflective finish, combined with fashionable jewel tones, provide a sleek appearance that will instantly dress up any space - especially rooms where you often entertain.

Stenciling

Stenciling produces an image or pattern by applying pigment to a surface over an intermediate object with designed gaps in it which create the pattern or image by only allowing the pigment to reach some parts of the surface. The stencil is the resulting image or pattern.  Our wall stencils are created by professional decorative artists. We are passionate about stenciling and will provide inspirational wall painting designs.  Any paint color can be used.  We have many beautiful stencil designs to choose from.

Artwork

Painting is a way of creating expressions.  Please review some of or artwork samples that are available.  We could create something unique for you.  Or, we could duplicate or enlarge any painting.  Many times we have transformed a picture into a beautiful work of art.

Murals

A mural is any piece of artwork painted or applied directly on a wall, ceiling or other large permanent surface.  Probably the most distinguishing characteristic of mural painting is that the architectural elements of the given space are harmoniously incorporated into the picture.  A mural can be done on the existing wall or ceiling surface, on a false wall, or on a canvas which could be stretched on a frame on the wall itself.  A mural can be spontaneous or planned. Planned murals normally are quicker to produce.  Faux painting techniques such as grisaille, trompe l’oeil, frottage, stippling, color washing, sponging, ragging, mutton clothing, and stenciling will help create a beautiful mural.
